It is time for our mission statement! As we had been listing our products and services in our last post, we will now focus on what we had intended, when we had put together this platform.

It bugged us for a long time, that the flight simulation market is dominated by only a few companies and that prices for flight simulation devices have been relatively high. As the world is changing and especially we in Europe do face increasing workload while revenues are going down, it is time to provide new ways of operating your aviation business. Of course, the prices for high-fidelity devices have decreased over the years with advancing new technologies, but so did the revenues for licenses. It is hard to break-even with devices having extraordinary pricing levels, fuel costs on the rise and having more paperwork to be done under the new EASA regulations. The Multicrew Coordiation (MCC) is a brilliant example! Prices for courses have dropped significantly as competition is growing, while at the same time cost for fuel and other expenses have gone up. Devices tailored for MCC-training have held their pricing levels more or less and haven´t changed significantly over the last 5 years. If you were able to use such a device in ab initio training, which is not really what you want to be doing, then your business case would probably still make sense, but that is not the case with most of the devices which are no convertible solutions.

But this is just one side of the coin! For customers, it is often difficult to know what is out there in the market and to have a supporting party, which is independent and which has been working in the business for quite some time now. We do know what the pros and cons are, we do know the whole process and what is to be done. It might save you a lot of time, resources and … headaches!

Well, but what is our mission?

We think is time to provide an alternative market segment which offer independent solutions for ATOs – Approved Training Organisations, FSTD – Operators and AOC-Holders by indepently offering “used” or even “new” flight simulation training devices and connect them to services which make your life a lot easier. An independent source, which can provide you with low-cost alternatives or support if you are looking for new FSTDs. Also, for you as a training device user, you might also need more support, especially when it comes to documentation or project management. Nobody wants to be surprised when the new training equipment has arrived and is not being qualified, not because the device is insufficient, but because the operator has missed out a lot of points which are his concern, not the manufacturers´. This is, where we step in! We want to fill the gaps! We connect operators,  manufacturers and civil aviation authorities!
